Support our Mission to House Diaspora Doctors in Nigeria

Raising funds on behalf of the ‘Concerned Medics Foundation‘ to renovate accommodation for volunteer health workers from more developed health economies who will be visiting the National Hospital in Abuja Nigeria on a two-four week rotation. They will be involved in capacity-building, teaching, training and providing health care free of charge to less privileged people. Renovating and securing the accomodation provided will ensure that are volunteers are safe and comfortable thereby encouraging them to return or encourage others to volunteer.

We have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Hospital for a rolling volunteer programme and already have more than 30 medics from all over the world signed up to start rotating in November.

CMF has a track record in this area with other well established partnerships in the subregion, some of which are documented on this webiste.

The funds will go specifically to providing:
1. Solar power
2.Sanitary ware and plumbing work
3. Security fittings (doors, burglar proofing, CCTV, external lighting)
4. Household appliances
5. Furniture
6. Roof and ceiling repairs
